It's HOT out here in Colorado, and we have a HOT release for you to cool some of you off. Introducing Handbid 2.28/2.29 release with Custom Forms capability!
That is right, you all have been asking for it for quite some time and we have delivered it here in July.
Handbid's New Feature Update
Handbid Adds Custom Forms to Ticketing!
What is Custom Forms? Well it gives managers the ability to create a custom set of questions (structured as a form) that can be attached to a ticket. When your guest purchases the ticket, Handbid will prompt them to complete the form.
Within the guest list, you can export this form data or view it in the manager. Either way, you will now be able to know who Suzie wants to sit next to or what Jason wants for dinner (meat or veggie).
Below are some screenshots. In the first one, you see the forms editor in the manager. Forms are global, meaning that you can create them once and use them across multiple events and tickets.
Once a form is created, you can attach it to a ticket. When a user purchases that ticket, they will be prompted to complete the FORM data.
Users can complete the form data on the web or from the Handbid mobile apps (iPhone and Android)
Once a user has completed the form, their information will appear in the registration info section in the guest list.

Additional fixes and upgrades
We also fixed or added the following in this release:
- We doubled the size of the event description field to 8000 characters. For many this will never matter, but for some of you doing some heavy HTML formatting, you need those extra characters due to all of the styles and attributes in the HTML code.
- We revised the timestamp showing on the Handbid Events site. The TimeZone was next to the year, and well… that really didn't make much sense. So, we moved it back over with the time portion (where it belongs). Then we put in an extra heavy layer of super-glue so it won't move again.
- There was a situation where users on the iPad manager could not add new guests. We fixed that!
We left out a lot of the smaller (less interesting) updates but hope you find these upgrades to be helpful. As always, if you have any questions for us, please reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org
