The Purple Heart was created by George Washington back in 1782. It is awarded to members of the United States armed services who have been wounded by an instrument of war by the hands of the enemy or killed in action or die as a result of wounds received in action.

Based in Annandale, VA, Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation was founded to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families with a myriad of nation-wide programs by Chapters and National Service Officers.

The Purple Heart Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. They provide support to veterans and their families through grants and outreach programs and donations to organizations whose programs help veterans.

Veterans returning home can face emotional, medical and financial challenges. The Purple Heart Foundation exists to lessen these trials and give veterans the homecoming they deserve.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
